So many times you will find the term "lucky you live Hawaii" or "it doesn’t matter what you know, but who you know". Believe me, there is power in those terms. Having lived in Hawaii for 33 years, I now understand what to do, where to go, and how to do it. No, we are not a 3rd world country, but we are not the common USA city. And that is what makes Hawaii special !!!

With my past sale experience at the Volcano Art Gallery coupled with 17 years of Real Estate Experience, I have come to appreciate the world of color, dance, and tradition that compiles the Hawaiian culture. My children all carry Hawaiian names specific to their character. Wailana, Pumehana and Nainoa; all born on the Big Island, still live on the Big Island and love the quality of life here. We surf, swim and paddle canoe. I also enjoy fishing with my husband, Chris. Why not enjoy the Pacific Ocean when it’s all around you ? For a full balance; I believe you need to take time for work, time for family and time for play. And living in Hawaii makes that much easier!

I began my career in Real Estate in 1990 under Herbst Realty. My mother-in-law was the Broker, and now my daughter, Wailana is the third generation Realtor of the family. In 2002, my partner and I started the first REMAX office on the east side of this island. After five years of ownership, I recently turned over the franchise to Charles Aki, Broker/Owner of REMAX Properties and now concentrate all my efforts on Sales. Currently I hold the designations of Graduate Realtor Institute and Broker in Charge. For the past 5 years, I have held a high level of sales in our market and continue to keep in touch with all aspects of the Real Estate market from Financing to marketing and construction.
